CANDIDATE PROFILE

10+ years of relevant jewellery manufacturing experience, preferably including unit or multi-department leadership. Strong exposure to silver/brass jewellery and traditional South Indian/Temple jewellery is preferred. Experience with diamond and fusion products, product development, vendor management and ERP/MIS is an advantage. The candidate must demonstrate solid commercial awareness, analytical ability, problem solving, communication and ownership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and achieve production, quality and delivery targets.

Plan manpower, capacity, machines, processes and priorities across product categories.

Drive manufacturing of Temple, South Indian, Diamond and Fusion jewellery in silver and brass.

Understand CAD/model making, casting, filing, setting, polishing, plating, assembly and finishing.

Partner with Design/CAD/Product Development to evaluate manufacturability and improve concepts for cost, durability and productivity.

Control WIP, lead time, rejection, rework, material loss and manufacturing cost.

Establish process-level quality standards, SOPs and root-cause corrective actions.

Coordinate with Planning, Purchase, Stores, QC, Maintenance, HR and Accounts.





Manage semi-finished/outsourced manufacturing vendors for quality, cost and delivery.

Build accountable supervisors and teams; resolve routine operational issues without unnecessary management escalation.

Introduce Lean/Kaizen, workflow improvements and data-driven MIS
