Shades77 is a hardware and interior solutions firm serving builders, contractors, architects, and homeowners in Visakhapatnam. We're looking for a dynamic Sales Associate who can manage walk-in customers at our store while also actively pitching our interior design and hardware solutions at construction sites across the city.

Role Overview

We're hiring a Sales Associate who's equally comfortable behind the counter and out in the field. You'll handle in-house customer sales, walk-ins, and inquiries, while also visiting construction sites, builders, and contractors around Visakhapatnam to pitch interior design solutions, generate leads, and close deals.

Key Responsibilities

In-House Sales

- Greet and assist walk-in customers, understand requirements, and recommend suitable hardware/interior products
- Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on payments
- Maintain product knowledge across hardware, fittings, and interior design offerings
- Manage CRM/sales records and daily reporting

Field Sales

- Visit construction sites, builders, contractors, and architects across Visakhapatnam and surrounding areas to identify new business opportunities




- Present and pitch interior design concepts and hardware solutions to site engineers/owners
- Build and maintain relationships with local contractors, builders, and real estate developers
- Follow up on leads generated from site visits and convert them into orders
- Coordinate with the design/technical team for site measurements and custom requirements

Requirements

- Minimum 12th pass / Graduate (preferred: any degree; interior design background is a plus)
- 1–4 years of sales experience, preferably in hardware, interiors, building materials, or real estate
- Willingness to travel locally within Visakhapatnam for site visits (own two-wheeler preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel; CRM familiarity is a plus
- Confident, presentable, and comfortable interacting with contractors, engineers, and homeowners
- Familiarity with local areas/construction hubs in Vizag is a plus
