About CCS:

Centre for Civil Society (CCS) is an independent public policy think tank based in New Delhi, working on research and outreach to advance social change through public policy in education, livelihood, and policy training.

Position Summary:

The Outreach Events Coordinator plans and executes CCS's conferences, dialogues, seminars, and workshops under the guidance of the Outreach Director, managing logistics end-to-end and delivering a seamless experience for speakers, partners, and attendees.

This role is central to ensuring seamless, high-quality execution of events and requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives on process, enjoys problem-solving under time pressure, and can deliver a superior experience for speakers, partners, and attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and execute CCS events, from venue selection, vendor RFPs to on-site setup and breakdown.

- Manage vendors: venue, AV, catering, transport, and translation; to ensure smooth operations.

- Handle event budgets, invoices, and payment reconciliation with Finance.

- Coordinate speaker/participant invitation, travel, accommodation, and hospitality.

- Manage registrations, RSVPs,



and event-related correspondence.

- Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare reports for continuous improvement.

- Maintain event records and materials, including support for partnership & funding proposals.

- Engage interns, volunteers and CCS staff in all major outreach events.

Director, Policy Outreach

Qualifications & Experience

- 2+ years of event or programme coordination experience.

- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace; comfortable with project-management tools.

- Strong organisational, communication, and vendor-negotiation skills.

- Masters's degree in a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Preferred: familiarity with public policy/think tank environments;

- Hindi and English proficiency.
