Job Title: Audit Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Audit Manager to lead statutory, internal, tax, and special audits for a diverse client base. The role involves managing audit engagements end-to-end, supervising teams, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards, and maintaining strong client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit & Assurance

- Plan, manage, and execute statutory, internal, tax, and special audits.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws, and applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / AS).
- Review audit working papers, reports, and financial statements.
- Identify key risk areas and provide value-added recommendations to clients.

Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and review the work of audit seniors, articles, and assistants.
- Allocate assignments, monitor timelines, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and conduct performance reviews.

Client Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for audit clients.
- Handle client queries, discussions, and audit closures professionally.
- Build strong,



long-term client relationships and support business development initiatives.

Compliance & Reporting

- Finalize audit reports, CARO reports, tax audit reports, and certifications.
- Coordinate with Partners on complex accounting, audit, and regulatory matters.
- Stay updated with changes in laws, accounting standards, auditing standards, and qualified pronouncements.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- Strong knowledge of audit procedures, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, audit tools, and accounting software.
- Solid leadership and team-management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

- Experience handling mid-size to large corporate audits.
- Exposure to manufacturing, service, or multi-location clients.
- Prior experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm is mandatory.
