Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Barista to lead day-to-day beverage operations at a premium café. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of coffee preparation, barista techniques, team supervision and customer service, with a focus on maintaining consistent beverage quality and café standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the barista team during daily café operations.
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based coffees, specialty beverages, teas, shakes and cold beverages.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other coffee equipment.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, temperature and presentation.
- Train and guide junior baristas on coffee preparation and service standards.
- Manage daily opening, closing and barista station procedures.
- Monitor coffee beans, milk, syrups and other beverage inventory.
- Maintain proper stock levels and minimize wastage.




- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the beverage counter and equipment.
- Handle customer requests and beverage-related complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service team for smooth order execution.
- Assist in introducing new beverages and seasonal café specials.
- Follow café SOPs, food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support the Café Manager in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
