Meditrina Hospital, Kollam is looking for a committed and proactive OPD Assistant to support our Outpatient Department operations and enhance the overall patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing and organizing patient flow in the OPD.
- Provide guidance to patients regarding consultation rooms, diagnostic areas, and service counters.
- Experience in taking vitals of the patients
- Support doctors, nurses, and administrative staff in ensuring smooth OPD operations.
- Help in patient registration, appointment confirmation, and handling basic documentation.
- Maintain the OPD’s cleanliness, safety, and readiness for daily operations.
- Assist in coordinating with other departments to ensure timely service delivery.
- Ensure patients are attended to promptly and provided with a caring, comfortable environment.
- Handle basic patient queries and escalate concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Uphold hospital standards, patient confidentiality, and NABH quality protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Educational Qualification: Plus Two (12th standard), GDA or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in a hospital OPD or healthcare setup preferred.




- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle patient flow and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Service-oriented attitude with empathy and compassion.
- Basic knowledge of hospital protocols, hygiene, and patient handling.
