Position: VMC Operator
Experience: 1–3 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma – Mechanical
Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering
Location: Coimbatore

Job Responsibilities:

- Operate VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) machines as per production requirements.
- Load and unload components correctly.
- Follow instructions from the VMC Setter/Supervisor.
- Monitor machine operation and machining processes.
- Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Perform in-process quality inspection.
- Monitor tool condition and inform the setter when tool replacement is required.
- Identify machine or quality abnormalities and report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain required production quantity and quality standards.
- Understand basic engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.




- Maintain production and inspection records.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.

Required Skills:

- 1–3 years of experience in VMC operation.
- Basic knowledge of VMC machine operation.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of milling, drilling, tapping, and other machining operations.
- Positive attention to quality and dimensions.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Good teamwork and discipline.

Experience: 1–3 years of relevant VMC Operator experience.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
