Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Veterinary Officer to oversee the health, welfare, and ethical care of laboratory animals in a controlled research environment. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supporting scientific research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure health, care, and humane handling of laboratory animals
- Conduct health checks, diagnosis, and treatment
- Maintain housing, hygiene, and nutrition standards
- Support research procedures with minimal animal distress
- Keep accurate medical records and ensure CPCSEA compliance
- Train staff and manage disease control protocols

Requirements:

- BVSc with valid registration
- 1–3 years’ lab/research experience preferred (freshers welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of CPCSEA guidelines
- Robust clinical and observational skills

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with lab animals and research protocols
- Detail-oriented with high ethical standards
