Position: Career Counsellor
Experience: 6 months–2 Years
Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000 per month + Incentives, depending on skills and experience

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and confident Career Counsellor who can guide students and working professionals in choosing the right career path, courses, and skill-development programs based on their interests, goals, and career aspirations.

The candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, along with the ability to understand student requirements and convert enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding suitable career options and courses.
- Understand students' interests, educational backgrounds, skills, and career goals.
- Explain course curriculum, career opportunities, duration, fees, and other relevant details.
- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions through phone calls, walk-ins, and online meetings.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Convert leads/enquiries into successful admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.




- Coordinate with the academic and management teams regarding student requirements.
- Handle objections and provide appropriate solutions to students and parents.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Participate in seminars, career guidance sessions, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with students and ensure a positive admission experience.

Required Skills

- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling and convincing abilities.
- Good knowledge of career opportunities and skill-development courses.
- Ability to understand student requirements and recommend appropriate courses.
- Strong follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working with admission/sales targets.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM software.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
