Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations

- Manage day-to-day plant operations covering production, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, quality, stores, and logistics.
- Ensure production plans are achieved in line with customer requirements and business targets.
- Optimize manpower, machinery, materials, and production capacity.
- Monitor plant KPIs including productivity, OEE, yield, downtime, rejection, rework, throughput, and on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement production strategies to improve capacity and operational efficiency.

2. Production & Planning

- Coordinate closely with Production Planning, Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain teams.
- Ensure effective production scheduling and adherence to manufacturing plans.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks affecting production output.
- Improve line balancing, workflow, layout, and material movement.
- Drive reduction in changeover time, waiting time, idle capacity, and manufacturing losses.

3. Quality Management

- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and applicable HVAC industry requirements.
- Work closely with the Quality team to reduce defects, customer complaints, rejection, and rework.
- Implement root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Promote a strong Right First Time and zero-defect manufacturing culture.

4. Cost & Productivity Improvement

- Own plant operating costs and drive initiatives to reduce manufacturing costs.
- Improve labor productivity, material utilization,



energy efficiency, and machine utilization.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and digitalization.

5. Maintenance & Equipment

- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance programs are implemented effectively.
- Minimize equipment breakdowns and production downtime.
- Support capital expenditure projects, new equipment installation, commissioning, and capacity expansion.
- Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of production machinery, tooling, and testing equipment.

6. Safety & Compliance

- Establish and maintain a strong EHS culture across the plant.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, fire, and occupational health and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular safety reviews and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Promote protected working practices and employee awareness.

7. People Leadership

- Lead, coach, and develop production and support-function teams.
- Establish performance objectives and accountability at all levels.
- Identify training and development requirements.
- Build a culture of teamwork, discipline, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Manage workforce planning, productivity, attendance, and employee engagement.

8. HVAC Manufacturing Excellence

- Ensure robust manufacturing processes for HVAC products such as AHUs, FCUs, chillers, packaged units, ducting, air-conditioning equipment, or related systems, depending on the company's product portfolio.
- Maintain strong process control across sheet-metal fabrication, welding, painting/coating, insulation, assembly, electrical integration, testing, and final inspection.
- Ensure effective testing and commissioning processes and adherence to product specifications.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
