Dental Assistant/ Receptionist – Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and skilled Dental Assistant/ Receptionist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assisting the dentist during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment, and providing a welcoming experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures and treatments.
- Prepare and arrange dental instruments and materials before procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to clinic protocols.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean, hygienic, and well-organized.
- Assist with patient preparation and provide basic chairside support.
- Maintain proper records of patients and treatments as required.
- Manage and organize dental supplies and inform the clinic when stock needs replenishing.
- Follow all infection-control,



hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Help ensure patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visit.
- Support the dentist and clinic staff with day-to-day clinical tasks.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.Freshers are also welcomed.
- Knowledge of basic dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
- Responsible, punctual, well-organized, and attentive to detail.
- A caring and professional attitude toward patients.
