Overview

- Prepare and monitor daily and weekly production plans.
- Coordinate production activities across different manufacturing sections.
- Allocate jobs and work instructions to production teams.
- Monitor production progress against planned schedules.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Stores, Purchase, Quality and Maintenance departments.
- Ensure required raw materials and components are available for production.
- Track material consumption and report shortages or delays.
- Monitor work orders and ensure timely completion.
- Identify production delays, bottlenecks and process issues and report them to management.
- Ensure production activities follow approved drawings, specifications and work instructions.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to resolve production-related quality issues.
- Maintain daily production reports, job status and output records.
- Monitor manpower utilization and production efficiency.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with safety procedures.
- Prepare daily/weekly production status reports for management.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of production planning and control.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.




- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to track multiple production orders simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of transformer manufacturing or electrical/mechanical fabrication will be an advantage.

Qualification

B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in production, production planning, production coordination or manufacturing operations preferred.

Freshers with strong technical knowledge and good communication/coordination skills may also be considered.
