Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Lab Technician to join our hospital team. The candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, handling samples, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper laboratory procedures and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples such as blood, urine, and other specimens.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations accurately and efficiently.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and laboratory safety protocols.
- Ensure proper sample handling, storage, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate test reports, registers, and laboratory records.
- Perform quality checks and report any abnormal or critical findings to the concerned doctor/supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection-control standards in the laboratory.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and inform the concerned person when stock needs replenishment.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments when required.




- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of patient information.
- Assist in maintaining documentation required for hospital and laboratory quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- DMLT / B.Sc. MLT / MLT-related qualification from a recognized institution.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory preferred.
- Good knowledge of routine laboratory procedures and sample collection.
- Ability to operate basic laboratory equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to work responsibly in a hospital environment.
- Knowledge of infection control and laboratory safety practices.
