Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Sonography Technician to join our hospital/diagnostic team in Sultanpur. The candidate will be responsible for performing ultrasound/sonography procedures, handling patients professionally, operating ultrasound equipment, and ensuring proper image quality and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound/sonography procedures as per prescribed protocols.

Operate and handle ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.

Prepare patients for examinations and provide appropriate assistance during procedures.

Ensure proper positioning and patient comfort during examinations.

Maintain positive-quality ultrasound images for clinical interpretation.

Follow all applicable safety, hygiene, and infection-control procedures.

Maintain examination records and required documentation.

Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly.

Coordinate with doctors and other clinical staff as required.





Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the sonography room and equipment.

Required Qualification & Experience

Relevant qualification/certification in Medical Imaging/Sonography or equivalent as applicable to the role.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital, diagnostic centre, or healthcare facility.

Good practical knowledge of ultrasound/sonography procedures and equipment.

Good patient-handling and communication skills.

Ability to work responsibly in a clinical environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with different types of ultrasound examinations.

Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and routine care of ultrasound equipment.

Ability to maintain accurate patient and examination records.

Professional and patient-friendly approach.
