Urgently required for the post of Production MIS Engineer

Key Responsibilities
1. Production Data Management

- Maintain daily production data and records.
- Enter production quantities into ERP/Excel/MIS.
- Maintain job-wise and machine-wise production records.
- Update job cards and work-order status.
- Verify production data received from the shop floor.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all entries.

2. Production MIS & Reporting

- Prepare Daily Production Reports (DPR).
- Prepare planned vs. actual production reports.
- Prepare WIP and pending-job reports.
- Prepare machine/work-centre-wise production reports.
- Prepare weekly and monthly production MIS.
- Provide production data and reports to management as required.

3. ERP & Documentation

- Update production-related transactions in ERP/MRP systems.
- Maintain work orders, job cards and production records.
- Update material consumption and production completion details.
- Verify ERP records against physical/shop-floor records.
- Maintain proper production documentation and filing.

4. Shop-Floor Coordination





- Collect daily production updates from supervisors.
- Monitor job status and production progress.
- Follow up on pending production activities.
- Coordinate with Production Supervisors, Stores, QC, Purchase and Dispatch.
- Highlight production delays or discrepancies to the Production Manager.

5. Material & WIP Records

- Maintain records of material issued and consumed.
- Track WIP at different production stages.
- Monitor material shortages affecting production.
- Coordinate with Stores for production-related requirements.

6. Rejection & Rework Records

- Maintain production rejection and rework data.
- Record rejection quantities and reasons.
- Track rework status.
- Coordinate with QC regarding inspection and clearance.

7. Machine & Productivity Records

- Maintain machine/work-centre-wise production data.
- Record machine downtime and reasons.
- Maintain productivity records.
- Support management in analysing production performance.
