Sky Education Group is an education counselling and enrollment partner working with 28+ universities across India. We help students and working professionals choose the right Online & Distance UG and PG programmes based on their academic background, career goals and requirements.

We are looking for an experienced Academic Counsellor who has already worked in the Online/Distance Higher Education / EdTech admission sales domain and can start handling leads with minimal training.

This is NOT a Fresher Position.

We are specifically looking for candidates who already understand:

- Online & Distance Education
- UG & PG admission counselling
- University/course comparison
- B2C lead handling
- Telephonic counselling
- Follow-up and objection handling
- Admission conversion
- CRM/lead management
- Closing the admission cycle

Key Responsibilities

- Handle fresh and existing leads through telephone calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
- Understand the student's education, career goals, work experience and course requirements.
- Counsel students for Online & Distance UG/PG programmes such as:
- BBA
- BCA
- B.Com
- MBA
- MCA
- Other relevant UG/PG programmes
- Explain and compare universities, programmes, eligibility, fees, admission process and other relevant details.
- Counsel students regarding programmes offered through leading universities such as NMIMS, LPU, Amity, Chandigarh University, Manipal University and other partner universities.
- Handle student objections related to fees, university selection, course validity, programme structure, placements, admission process and competitors.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with interested prospects and move them towards admission.
- Coordinate with the admission/operations team until the student's admission process is successfully completed.
- Maintain accurate lead and follow-up information in the CRM.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.




- Maintain high-quality counselling while focusing strongly on conversion and closures.

What We Are Looking For Mandatory :

- 1–3+ years of relevant experience in Online Education / Distance Education / EdTech admission sales.
- Must have experience selling Online/Distance UG & PG programmes.
- Candidates who have previously worked with Online University, EdTech, University Enrollment Partner, Education Consultancy or similar organizations are preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Online Education admission process.
- Proven experience in B2C telephonic counselling and sales conversion.
- Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and follow-ups.
- Strong communication skills in Hindi & English.
- Robust convincing, negotiation and objection-handling ability.
- Comfortable working with sales targets.
- Candidate should be able to start handling leads with minimal training.

❌ Candidates looking only for a non-target-based counselling role
