Job Description – Receptionist | Jewellery Showroom

Position: Receptionist / Front Office Executive

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and welcome customers warmly as they enter the jewellery showroom.
- Manage the reception/front desk and ensure a professional customer experience.
- Understand customers' basic requirements and direct them to the appropriate sales executive.
- Handle incoming telephone calls, enquiries, and customer messages professionally.
- Maintain customer visit records and basic showroom documentation.
- Assist the sales team with customer coordination and appointment scheduling.
- Handle customer registrations, enquiries, and follow-up information.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding customer requirements.
- Maintain the reception area in a clean, organized, and presentable manner.
- Assist with basic administrative and data-entry activities.
- Support the showroom team during promotional events, offers, and special occasions.




- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.

Skills & Qualifications

- Any Bachelor's degree / Diploma preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in reception, front office, customer service, or retail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality with a customer-friendly approach.
- Good verbal and written communication in English and Tamil.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and computer operations.
- Good grooming and professional appearance.
- Ability to handle customers patiently and courteously.
- Solid coordination and organizational skills.

Preferred Candidates

- Candidates with experience in jewellery showroom, retail, luxury retail, hospitality, banking, or customer service will be preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills can also be considered.
