The Medical Officer will be responsible for independently managing Intensive Care, Trauma, and Emergency cases. The candidate must be capable of handling critical patients and leading medical operations in the absence of senior consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Trauma, and Emergency cases
- Provide immediate medical care and stabilize critical patients
- Lead and supervise junior medical staff and nurses when senior consultants are not available
- Handle emergency admissions, procedures, and patient monitoring
- Coordinate with specialists and other departments for patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and medical standards
- Participate in both Night Shift and General Shift duties as per roster
Required Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS (Mandatory)
- Minimum 4–8 years of clinical experience
- Proven experience in independently managing ICU / Trauma / Emergency
- Ability to take independent medical decisions and lead the team
- Solid clinical knowledge and emergency handling skills
- Willingness to work night shifts and general shifts
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Multispeciality / Cardiac hospitals
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
