- Manage floor operations: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the fabrication and welding team.
- Task allocation: Delegate work assignments to fabricators based on material availability, deadlines, and individual worker skill sets.
- Train and mentor: Provide continuous guidance, training, and performance feedback to help apprentices and junior fabricators improve their skills.

Technical Plan Execution

- Interpret blueprints: Read and translate technical engineering drawings, structural layouts, and welding specifications for the crew.
- Oversee fabrication: Ensure structural metal components are shaped, cut, and assembled precisely according to specifications.
- Manage tools & equipment: Proactively monitor and maintain all machinery, hand tools, and welding equipment to avoid production downtime.

Quality Control & Safety Management

- Inspect work quality: Perform regular checks and final inspections on finished parts to ensure tight compliance with structural tolerances, design standards, and quality policies.
- Enforce safety protocols: Maintain a clean, organised workshop and enforce local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, AWS,



or National Occupational Standards).
- Troubleshoot errors: Identify production bottleneck issues or fabrication errors immediately and implement effective rework procedures.

Cross-Department Coordination

- Material management: Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to request needed supplies.
- Progress reporting: Track material usage and report daily production progress, timelines, and floor incidents to the Plant Manager or Project Engineer.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Technical background: Deep understanding of welding procedures (MIG/TIG/Stick), metal cutting machines, sheet metal layouts, and general machinery manufacturing.
- Blueprint literacy: Advanced capability to read complex industrial engineering drawings and architectural plans.
- Strong leadership: Proven track record in conflict resolution, team motivation, and time-management under high-pressure, fast-paced conditions.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
