Job Description

Project Overview The "Empowerment of Women Farmers in Gadchiroli" project will work with tribal communities in the remote villages of Dhanora and Korchi blocks. It aims to strengthen women's institutions, climate-resilient agriculture, forest and livestock-based livelihoods, nutrition and health, inclusive participation, and evidence-based programme delivery. The approach emphasizes community ownership through women's SHGs, producer organizations, Gram Sabhas, government convergence, and sustainable local enterprises.

The coordinator will support implementation of the project monitoring, evaluation, and learning system, including M&E; plans, primary data collection, local databases, verification of deliverables, and evidence-based tracking of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement project-specific M&E; plans and field reporting systems.
- Conduct field monitoring and direct verification of project deliverables.
- Lead primary data collection for baseline and endline studies and support impact assessments.
- Ensure timely, accurate data collection and resolve field data-entry errors.




- Provide clean field datasets for dashboards, progress monitoring, and evaluation.
- Capture community feedback and document best practices, lessons, and success stories.
- Support field teams in understanding reporting periodicities, logframes, and indicators. ï Provide data and inputs for project reviews, evaluations, and audits.
- Use mobile data collection platforms such as ODK or KoboCollect.
- Travel extensively within assigned blocks, villages, and field sites.

Qualification

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Economics, Public Policy, Rural Development, Agriculture, or a related field, with training in primary data collection or M&E.;

Experience

3-6 years of hands-on grassroots M&E; experience, preferably across agriculture, livelihoods, natural resource management, or capacity-building programmes.

Language: Fluency in the local language, including speaking, reading, and writing, is required.

Period Sep 2026 - May 2027 (8 months) Extendable for additional 2 years based on performance and project funding
