Trident Academy of Technology, Bhubaneswar is looking for a Senior Academic Counsellor to support prospective students and guide them in making informed decisions about academic programs and career options.

Position: Senior Academic Counsellor

Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Employment Type: Contractual/Temporary
Experience: 1+ years preferred
Joining: Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, programs, admissions, and career options.
- Understand students' academic interests and requirements and provide appropriate guidance.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Follow up with prospective students and assist them throughout the admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling interactions, enquiries, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
- Work towards achieving reasonable admission and counselling targets while maintaining a student-focused approach.
- Handle queries and concerns professionally and provide timely assistance.

Required Skills





- Positive verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities.
- Ability to interact confidently with students and parents.
- Good listening and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Graduate in any discipline. Candidates with relevant experience in education counselling, admissions, or student relationship management will be preferred.

Good to Have

- Experience in academic counselling, admissions, EdTech, higher education, or related fields.
- Previous experience in student/parent interaction and follow-up.
- Familiarity with CRM or student enquiry management systems.
