Job Summary

- Role: Support the quality assurance team by checking furniture parts, frames, finishes, and final packed goods for defects.
- Goal: Ensure every piece of furniture meets structural durability and aesthetic standards before shipping

Key Responsibilities

- Raw Material Checks: Inspect incoming wood, panels, foam, fabrics, and hardware for flaws, correct moisture levels, and proper dimensions. [1]
- In-Process Inspection: Monitor assembly, gluing, upholstery, and stitching stages to catch alignment or structural errors early. [1]
- Finished Product Testing: Verify stability, strength, smooth drawer movement, and surface finish (color, polish, and texture) on completed furniture. [1]
- Documentation: Record inspection results, log defect rates, and organize logs for quality managers. [1, 2]




- Defect Reporting: Isolate faulty items and report non-conformities to the production team to prevent repeating mistakes. [1, 2]

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: High school diploma or an associate degree in a related technical field.
- Experience: 1+ years working in a manufacturing or woodworking workplace.
- Skills: Strong eye for detail, ability to read basic blueprints or product specifications, and basic computer skills to log data.
- Tools: Familiarity with tape measures, calipers, and square gauges.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
