Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to inspire students through music education and develop their vocal and instrumental abilities. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging music lessons, preparing students for school events, and nurturing creativity, confidence, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

-Plan and conduct age-appropriate music lessons for students.

-Teach vocal music, basic music theory, rhythm, and musical concepts.

-Provide training in relevant musical instruments such as keyboard, guitar, piano, tabla, drums, or other instruments.

-Prepare and train students for school assemblies, annual functions, competitions, concerts, and cultural events.

-Organize choirs, bands, music clubs, and other musical activities.

-Identify and encourage students with musical talent.

-Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning setting.

-Assess students' musical progress and provide constructive feedback.

-Coordinate with teachers and school management for performances and events.

-Maintain lesson plans, student records, and other academic documentation.

-Ensure proper care and maintenance of musical instruments and equipment.





-Participate in staff meetings, school activities, workshops, and professional development programs.

Required Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Music / Performing Arts or an equivalent qualification.

-Relevant teaching qualification such as B.Ed. / Diploma in Education is preferred.

-Strong knowledge of music theory and practical music.

-Proficiency in vocal music and/or one or more musical instruments.

-Previous experience teaching music in a school environment is preferred.

Experience

1–3 years or more of relevant school teaching experience preferred. Freshers with strong musical qualifications and performance skills may also be considered.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
