Software Test Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with 2+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, Security Testing along with a basic understanding of test automation.

Candidates with experience in AI + Playwright automation testing and Android-based payment applications will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents related to payment systems.
- Design, prepare, and execute test scenarios, test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Execute Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, System Integration (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
- Perform database validation using PostgreSQL queries.
- Validate APIs using Postman and perform basic API automation/testing where applicable.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Prepare QA documentation.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to ensure high-quality product releases.
- Participate in QA process improvements and contribute to test automation initiatives.

Required Skills





- Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Testing.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- Regression Testing
- Smoke & Sanity Testing
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL for backend data validation.
- Experience with JMeter for API testing.
- Good knowledge of performance testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare clear and comprehensive test documentation.

Good to Have

- Experience with AI + Playwright, Selenium, or Appium automation frameworks.
- Experience in performance testing using JMeter or k6.
- Knowledge of Mobile Application Testing.
- Exposure to Security Testing (OWASP, MobSF, Burp Suite, etc.).Preferred Candidate Profile

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
