ASYVA InfoTech is looking for highly experienced Databricks Engineers to join a long-term enterprise data engineering engagement.

Position: Databricks Engineer

Location: Remote

Experience: 12+ Years

Working Hours: EST Time Zone (Night Shift)

Mandatory Certification:Databricks Certified Data Engineer ProfessionalKey Requirements:

✅ 12+ years of overall IT experience

✅ Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark and PySpark

✅ Experience delivering 10+ end-to-end Databricks implementations

✅ Robust proficiency in Python and SQL

✅ Expertise in Lakehouse architecture and ETL/ELT pipeline development

✅ Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure or GCP

✅ Strong knowledge of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and Databricks Workflows

✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git and DevOps practices

✅ Expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting and deployment automation

✅ Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, governance and security

✅ Exposure to MLflow and MLOps

✅ Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder-management skillsKey

Responsibilities:

Lead Databricks projects from solution design through deployment and production support





Design and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines using Databricks, Spark and PySpark Build secure and scalable cloud-native Lakehouse platforms

Integrate Databricks with enterprise applications, APIs and third-party systems

Configure, monitor and optimize Databricks environments Implement CI/CD and deployment-automation practices

Participate in customer workshops and architecture discussions

Mentor engineering teams and establish development best practices

Ensure performance, security, governance and operational excellenceCandidates must be comfortable working in the EST time zone/night shift.
