Job Title: Store Keeper

Location: Tirur, Malappuram

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track stock movements, and identify slow-moving or obsolete items.

2. Goods Receipt: Receive and inspect goods delivered to the restaurant, ensuring they meet quality and quantity standards.

3. Storage and Organization: Store goods in a neat, tidy, and accessible manner, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

4. Issuance of Goods: Issue goods to the kitchen, bar, and other departments as required, ensuring accurate tracking and recording of stock movements.

5. Stock Control: Conduct regular stock takes, identify discrepancies, and investigate stock losses or damages.

6. Supplier Liaison: Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role,



preferably in the Restaurant industry.

2. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred ; degree in hospitality, logistics, or a related field preferred.

3. Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in inventory management software.

4. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Organize stock: Keep dry stores, chillers, and freezers clean and orderly.
- Rotate items: Apply the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method so older stock is used first.
- Monitor levels: Track minimum and maximum stock thresholds to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Check deliveries: Verify quantity, quality, and expiry dates against purchase orders.
- Reject items: Refuse damaged, spoiled, or incorrect products.
- Log receipts: Create Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and update digital or physical inventory records.
