Senior Manager – Banknet

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to drive the application, platform, operational and stakeholder management of the Baanknet platform. The role will involve working closely with participating PSU Banks, technology/service vendors, internal teams and other stakeholders to ensure platform stability, seamless operations, timely resolution of incidents and adherence to governance, security and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to application operations, production support, incident/problem/change management, vendor management, MIS and stakeholder management, preferably within banking, financial services or digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application & Platform Operations

- Oversee day-to-day application and platform operations to ensure business continuity and operational stability.
- Monitor application performance, availability and production environments.
- Coordinate with technology and support teams for timely resolution of operational issues.
- Ensure effective production support, monitoring and escalation mechanisms.
- Track system performance and identify potential operational risks proactively.

2. Stakeholder & Bank Management

- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across participating PSU Banks, PSBA, technology vendors and internal teams.
- Coordinate with banks and partners for operational requirements, issue resolution and platform-related matters.
- Handle escalations effectively and ensure timely closure of critical issues.




- Facilitate regular reviews with stakeholders and communicate platform performance, issues and action plans.

3. Incident, Problem & Change Management

- Lead incident management for production issues and ensure timely resolution within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate root-cause analysis (RCA) for critical and recurring incidents.
- Drive problem management initiatives to prevent recurrence of production issues.
- Coordinate change requests, release management and implementation activities.
- Ensure appropriate testing, approvals, deployment and post-release monitoring.

4. Vendor & SLA Management

- Manage technology and service vendors supporting the Baanknet platform.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and drive corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure vendor accountability for incidents, service quality and operational deliverables.
- Coordinate with vendors for capacity, support, security and business continuity requirements.

5. Data, Reporting & Governance

- Monitor application and operational data to identify mismatches, exceptions and data-quality issues.
- Oversee operational MIS, dashboards and KPI reporting.




- Track platform performance, incidents, SLA adherence and issue-resolution metrics.
- Ensure adherence to governance, information security, audit, DR and compliance requirements.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

Desired Experience

- 8–12+ years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, fintech, digital platforms, IT operations or technology-led programs.
- Experience in application/platform operations and production support.
- Prior experience working with PSU Banks, financial institutions, fintechs, TSPs or technology vendors would be preferred.
- Strong understanding of incident, problem, change and release management processes.
- Experience managing technology vendors and service-level agreements.
- Exposure to banking applications, digital platforms, APIs, integrations, dashboards and enterprise systems would be an advantage.
- Positive understanding of information security, DR, audit and regulatory/governance requirements.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
