Job Title: Audiologist and Speech Therapist

Location: Thalassery/Kannur, Kerala (Full time, On-Site)

Our healthcare facility in Thalassery/Kannur, Kerala, specialises in audiology and speech-language pathology. We require a qualified professional to strengthen our clinical services.

Position Summary

The appointee will conduct diagnostic evaluations, administer therapeutic interventions, and manage patient care for auditory and speech-language impairments.

Principal Responsibilities

Execute audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and evoked potentials.

Formulate and deliver tailored speech-language therapy for paediatric and adult cases.

Fit, program, and verify hearing amplification devices, with specific expertise in Signia hearing aids (e.g., programming) via Connexx software.

Liaise with ENT consultants and interdisciplinary teams to develop cohesive treatment strategies.

Record patient data in electronic health record (EHR) systems and compile clinical documentation.

Provide counselling on auditory rehabilitation, communication techniques, and preventive measures.

Engage in continuous professional development and audit processes.





Qualifications and Essential Requirements

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)-recognised institution (RCI registration mandatory).

Minimum 1 years’ post-qualification experience in audiology and speech therapy.

Proficiency in computer software, including EHR systems (e.g., Audire, HMS), MS Office, and Signia programming (Connexx/Connexx 9 for hearing aid fitting and adjustments).

Fluency in English and Malayalam; superior communication, empathy, and analytical abilities.

Remuneration and Benefits

Salary: ₹30,000 to ₹45,000 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience.
