Welder

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication work according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, good technical skills, and the ability to produce high-quality welds consistently.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform welding activities using MIG, TIG, ARC/SMAW, or other applicable welding processes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.
- Prepare, fit, align, and weld metal components according to required dimensions.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, tools, and related equipment.
- Select appropriate welding techniques, electrodes, wires, and shielding gases.
- Follow approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and workplace procedures.
- Maintain proper welding parameters, including current, voltage, and travel speed.
- Identify and correct welding defects and perform repair work when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, fabricators, and other team members.




- Complete welding work within required quality and production targets.

Requirements

- ITI/Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Welding or Fabrication is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Welder or in a similar position.
- Knowledge of welding processes, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Good understanding of welding safety procedures.
- Ability to identify common welding defects.
- Relevant welding certification/qualification is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹20,800.00 - ₹23,400.00 per month
