Job Description

We are looking for a Civil Quality Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in construction/project quality control. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that civil construction activities and materials comply with approved drawings, project specifications, IS Codes, and quality standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

* Monitor and control quality of civil construction activities at site.

* Conduct inspections for RCC, PCC, excavation, backfilling, earthwork, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and structural works.

* Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.

* Conduct incoming material inspections and verify test certificates/MTCs.

* Coordinate and witness testing of cement, aggregates, concrete, steel, soil, bricks/blocks, admixture, and other construction materials.

* Monitor concrete production, pouring, slump, temperature, cube sampling, curing, and compressive-strength results.

* Review and maintain concrete test reports, material test reports, inspection reports, and quality records.

* Prepare and maintain IR/WIR, MIR, checklists, test reports, and quality documentation.

* Coordinate with client/consultant QA/QC teams for inspections and approvals.

* Ensure proper implementation of ITPs, checklists, and quality procedures.

* Identify quality issues/non-conformities and coordinate NCR, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

* Carry out routine site inspections and identify workmanship deficiencies.





* Verify calibration and validity of testing and measuring instruments.

* Maintain daily/weekly/monthly quality reports and documentation.

* Assist in preparation and submission of Method Statements, ITPs, Quality Plans, and inspection formats.

* Ensure compliance with relevant IS Codes and project specifications.

* Coordinate with execution/site teams to resolve quality-related issues without affecting project progress.

* Support internal and client quality audits.

* Maintain proper traceability and quality records for completed works.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

* 3–4 years of experience in Civil QA/QC/QC Engineering.

* Good knowledge of IS 456, IS 10262, IS 383, IS 1786 and other relevant IS Codes.

* Practical knowledge of concrete technology and construction materials testing.

* Experience in preparing QA/QC documentation and inspection reports.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Ability to work independently at a construction/project site.

* Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

* Experience in RMC/batching plant, industrial, refinery, infrastructure or commercial projects will be an advantage.
