Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman with 2–5 years of experience in material handling equipment / mechanical fabrication. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate GA, fabrication, assembly, and detailed manufacturing drawings for various material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare GA, fabrication, assembly, and detailed drawings for material handling equipment.
- Prepare drawings for:
- Belt Conveyors
- Screw Conveyors
- Bucket Elevators
- Chain Conveyors
- Hoppers & Chutes
- Feeders
- Platforms & Structures
- Create and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks / Inventor, if required.
- Prepare BOMs and material specifications based on approved drawings.
- Develop detailed fabrication drawings with:
- Dimensions
- Tolerances
- Welding symbols
- Material specifications
- Sectional views
- Assembly details
- Incorporate client comments and design revisions into drawings.
- Prepare drawings for client submission and approval.
- Release approved drawings to the production/fabrication team.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, and Project teams for drawing-related requirements.
- Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability before release.




- Maintain proper drawing numbers, revisions, and document control.
- Support production/fabrication teams in resolving drawing-related issues.
- Ensure drawings are prepared as per company standards and project/customer requirements.

Required Skills

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting, fabrication, conveyors, or material handling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks / Inventor will be an added advantage.
- Valuable understanding of mechanical fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, welding symbols, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Good knowledge of structural sections, plates, shafts, bearings, fasteners, etc.
- Ability to prepare accurate BOMs.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work under project deadlines.

Educational Qualification

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / ITI Mechanical / equivalent qualification.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in material handling equipment manufacturing, conveyor systems, heavy fabrication, industrial equipment, or mechanical engineering companies will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
