Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Embryologist to support laboratory procedures, embryology operations, documentation, and quality standards in the IVF/Andrology laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with Andrology laboratory procedures as per SOPs.
- Assist in Ovum Pickup (OPU) and oocyte identification/denudation procedures.
- Perform embryo freezing and thawing (vitrification/warming) under established protocols.
- Assist in routine embryology laboratory procedures and sample handling.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and patient/sample traceability.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, safety protocols, infection-control procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain proper handling, identification, and storage of gametes and embryos.
- Support senior embryologists in day-to-day IVF laboratory activities.
Candidate Profile
- M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences or relevant qualification.
- Prior experience in an ICSI/ET/IVF/Embryology/Andrology laboratory preferred.
- Knowledge of OPU, denudation, embryo freezing & thawing, and laboratory documentation.
- Good attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, record-keeping, and teamwork. Key Skills
