Role Description The Retail Salesperson role is a full-time, on-site position based at Bhartiyam Deco Fab in Bhopal. In this role, the Retail Salesperson greets customers, understands their needs, and recommends suitable home furnishing products. Daily tasks include explaining product features and pricing, assisting with selection and combinations of fabrics and décor, and handling sales transactions at the counter. The role involves maintaining store displays, ensuring products are well-presented and stocked, and keeping the sales area clean and organized.



The Retail Salesperson also manages basic customer queries, processes exchanges or returns according to store policies, and supports store promotions and visual merchandising activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet or exceed store sales targets.
- Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge related to home furnishings, including fabrics, styles, and care instructions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with customers and provide a positive in-store experience.
- Candidates should possess basic numeracy and point-of-sale skills for billing, cash handling, and transaction processing.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in retail or home furnishings, ability to stand for extended periods, attention to detail in visual merchandising, and at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
