We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, functionality, and performance of software applications before they are released to customers.

As a Software Tester, you will work closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other QA professionals to understand requirements, create comprehensive test scenarios, identify defects, and ensure that applications meet both functional and business expectations.

The role provides an chance to work across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) while contributing to the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirements to understand application functionality

Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing

Execute manual test cases across web, mobile, and software applications

Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects

Re-test resolved defects and perform regression testing after fixes

Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve application issues

Validate application functionality against defined business requirements

Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing

Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman

Perform basic database validation using SQL queries

Participate in release testing and provide quality assessments

Maintain accurate testing documentation and defect reports

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning activities

Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and methodologies





Assist in identifying opportunities for test automation

Monitor application quality throughout the development lifecycle

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–4 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC

Hands-on experience with Manual Testing

Good knowledge of functional and non-functional testing concepts

Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios

Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar

Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL

Understanding of API testing and REST APIs

Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools

Strong knowledge of defect life cycle and QA processes

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
