About the role
We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit on the front lines of the business and fix real problems. You'll work directly with teams, learn their workflows in detail, then design and build practical solutions that make their work faster, more accurate, and less chaotic.
This is a hands-on role. You won't be writing slide decks about transformation. You'll be in the weeds with operators, tools, and data, and you'll be responsible for getting things to actually work.
What you'll do
- Embed with business teams (operations, supply chain, sales, finance) to understand how work really gets done today.
- Map messy, manual processes and redesign them into cleaner, more reliable workflows.
- Build small internal tools, automations, and dashboards using off-the-shelf software, no-code/low-code platforms, and light scripting when needed.
- Take vague problems (this takes too long / we keep making the same mistakes) and turn them into transparent, shipped solutions in days or weeks, not quarters.
- Test with real users, gather feedback, and iterate until the solution sticks.
- Document simple playbooks so others can run and maintain what you've put in place.
Who you are
- Early in your career: 0–3 years of experience in a technical, product, operations, or similar role.
- You are a builder. You like rolling up your sleeves, opening tools, and trying things until they work.
- Comfortable configuring SaaS tools, playing with no-code/low-code platforms, and learning new systems quickly.
- Basic scripting ability (Python, JavaScript, or similar) is a plus, but not required if you can show strong problem-solving and tool-building skills.
- You enjoy talking to non-technical teammates, understanding their world, and translating it into concrete changes in process and tooling.
- You care about numbers: you want to see how much faster, cheaper, or more accurate things become after your work.
What this role is not
This is not a pure strategy, consulting, or PMO role. If you'd rather analyze from a distance instead of getting into the details of tools, data, and workflows, this won't be the right fit.
Why this is exciting
- You'll work on real bottlenecks in a live business and see the impact of your work quickly.
- You'll build a portfolio of concrete improvements, tools, and systems that you can point to and say, I fixed that.
- You'll get exposure across functions and learn how different parts of a company actually run day to day.
