Position Overview
We are seeking a technically solid and commercially driven Strategic Partnerships Associate to join our Strategic Partnerships team and focus on building partnerships with AI platforms, AI voice-agent companies, developer platforms, automation platforms, voice technology companies, and other technology products.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and shipping software and should be comfortable understanding APIs, technical products, integrations, and AI/voice architectures.
The role involves identifying high-potential technology partners, conducting technical and commercial discussions, supporting integrations, and helping partners move from initial engagement to production usage of Teler.
This is a technical partnerships role and is not intended for candidates with only traditional sales, business development, recruitment, marketing, or general partnership experience.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Platform Partner Research
- Identify AI voice-agent platforms, AI agent platforms, LLM platforms, developer platforms, automation platforms, voice technology companies, CRM/ATS platforms, and API-first SaaS companies
- Research potential partners' products, APIs, documentation, technical architecture, and existing voice infrastructure
- Identify where Teler can fit within a partner's product or technology stack
- Evaluate technical fit, customer overlap, integration effort, and commercial potential
- Build and maintain a prioritized database of potential AI and technology partners
- Track relevant competitor integrations, partner programs, marketplace listings, and ecosystem developments
Technical Partner Qualification
- Understand what potential partners are building and how their products work
- Review their existing voice, telephony, API, and integration architecture
- Identify technical requirements, pain points, expected usage, and integration complexity
- Understand latency, reliability, scalability, and geographic requirements where relevant
- Determine whether Teler is a suitable technical and commercial fit
- Prepare structured partner briefs and opportunity assessments
Partner Outreach & Relationship Management
- Conduct targeted outreach through email, LinkedIn, developer communities, GitHub, Slack, Discord, events, and relevant ecosystem channels
- Create personalized outreach based on the partner's actual product and technical environment
- Build relationships with developers, engineers, CTOs, technical founders, and product teams
- Conduct discovery calls and document requirements, pain points, decision processes, and next steps
- Maintain structured follow-ups and move qualified opportunities toward technical evaluation
Technical Demos & Integration Support
- Conduct Teler product demonstrations and technical walkthroughs
- Explain Teler APIs, authentication, call control, media streaming, number provisioning, webhooks, and call handling
- Explain how Teler fits into AI voice-agent architectures
- Build small proof-of-concepts, reference integrations, sample applications, and API examples
- Create Postman collections, code snippets, and technical integration material
- Support partners during technical evaluation and integration
Partner Onboarding
- Manage partner onboarding from technical qualification through production
- Support sandbox and account setup
- Guide partners through API credentials, documentation, and number provisioning
- Support initial integration and testing
- Help partners reach their first successful test call
- Drive qualified partners toward their first production call
- Track integration progress, blockers, and next steps
Technical Troubleshooting
- Review API requests, responses, logs, and technical errors
- Reproduce and investigate integration issues
- Troubleshoot API and webhook-related problems
- Identify whether issues originate from partner code, Teler, or the network
- Provide clear and reproducible technical information to Engineering
- Resolve first-level technical issues without unnecessary escalation
AI Voice & Technical Architecture
- Understand AI voice-agent architecture including STT → LLM → TTS
- Understand streaming and turn-based voice interactions
- Understand barge-in, interruption handling, and function/tool calling
- Understand basic telephony concepts including SIP, DIDs, number provisioning, inbound/outbound calling, and call control
- Understand media/audio streaming, latency, and reliability considerations
- Create and explain architecture diagrams showing where Teler fits
Co-Selling & Partner Enablement
- Work with Sales and Pre-sales on partner-led opportunities
- Participate in partner-introduced customer discussions when technical support is required
- Support joint solution positioning and technical qualification
- Identify referral and co-selling opportunities
- Create integration guides, technical FAQs, architecture diagrams, demo scripts, and implementation material
- Help partners become capable of explaining and positioning Teler independently
Product Feedback & Collaboration
- Collect structured feedback from technology partners
- Identify recurring API, documentation, integration, and scalability issues
- Document partner requirements with technical and commercial context
- Work with Product and Engineering to communicate partner requirements
- Identify opportunities to reduce integration friction
Partner Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM and partner records
- Track partner stages, technical evaluations, integrations, activations, and next steps
- Maintain visibility into partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline
- Prepare regular reports on outreach, qualified conversations, integrations, activations, pipeline, and blockers
- Build lightweight tools or scripts for partner research, enrichment, tracking, or reporting where useful
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of real hands-on experience writing code or building and shipping a software product
- Must have experience building software, integrations, applications, or technical products used by real users
- Must be able to provide evidence of work through GitHub, GitLab, portfolio, live product, production integration, or similar proof
- Must be able to clearly explain personal contribution to a project

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a software or product builder who wants to use their technical knowledge to build AI and technology partnerships.
They should be comfortable understanding APIs and architectures, speaking with developers and CTOs, identifying strong technology partnerships, conducting technical demos, supporting integrations, and moving qualified partners toward production.
Pure sales, generalist business development, recruitment, marketing, or partnership profiles without real software-building experience will not be considered.
