Citigroup Markets & Banking's Markets Operations Technology is a high-intensity product development unit that defines, designs and develops critical front-office applications for the Global FX & Local Markets business. The Senior Developer will be part of the Development team that is responsible to deliver projects within the space of front-office Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Markets (MM), Derivatives, Fixed Incomes (FI) applications including models and Risk Management tools. **Responsibilities:** + _Take ownership for delivering the development task assigned._ + _Ensure delivery within tight timelines and meeting the team's expectation._ + _Get involved in the entire lifecycle of the development project_ + _Understand the requirement from Project Lead and ensure quality deliverables._ + _Ensure quality and optimized coding with proper documentation_ + _Do peer code reviews_ + _Develop unit plan and perform unit testing and provide continuously improved product experience_ + _Actively assist Support team wherever required_ + _Assist Project Lead in coordinating with business analysts & user communities to define requirements_ + _Participate in the technical design_ + _Actively assist Project Lead to deliver quality output_ + _Together with the team contribute to creative & best-in-class solutions for our business_ **_Knowledge/Experience:_** _5+(Senior Developers) years hands on experience in pure technical roles in development of various software applications._ _Technology:_ + _In depth knowledge and application of Java, J2EE, HTML/CSS, Angular, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Struts framework, Spring and Micro service_ + _Thorough understanding of usage of the fundamental concepts like Exception Handling, Static block/variables/classes , OOPS concepts, Collections, Multi-Threading, http sessions, session handling, Servlets/JSP life cycle, JDBC, actions, events,



implicit objects, custom tags, context_ + _Exposure to an industry-standard database (Oracle) on a UNIX platform with awareness of database design and SQL scripting knowledge and performance tuning_ + _Awareness of unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG_ + _Awareness of application servers /webservers_ + _Work experience on the transactional applications for low latency, high availability uses is a plus_ + _Work experience in technologies like JMS / Kafka is a plus_ + _Exposure to DevOps tools like Github, Jenkins, Lightspeed, Harness, etc.._ **Education:** + _Graduation/Post Graduation qualifications in Engineering stream with a very good academic record throughout from premier institutions._ + _A high degree of Analytical ability and Quantitative skills is desirable_ **_Skills:_** + _Strong interpersonal and articulation skills (spoken and written)_ + _Ability to partner with non-technical and technical peers; ability to work effectively with remote colleagues; participate technical discussions_ + _Strong team orientation and commitment to overall team success; willing to go above and beyond to ensure team success; intense customer focus and commitment to driving quality_ + _Effective time management skills in order to manage multiple priorities with flexibility on time zones and timelines_ + _Logical thinking,
