Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 5–9 years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, and up-to-date software development practices. The ideal candidate will not only bring deep expertise in building scalable test frameworks but also demonstrate the ability to leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development, testing, and delivery in line with the latest industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API platforms.
- Integrate AI-driven tools into the testing lifecycle to improve efficiency, coverage, and speed.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Drive innovation in testing practices by adopting emerging technologies and methodologies.




- Perform root cause analysis and proactively identify gaps in test coverage.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of quality across teams.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–9 years of hands-on experience in software testing and automation.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript,
- Expertise in automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or TestNG and Rest Assured (or equivalent).
- Proficiency with AI/ML tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Chat GPT, AI-based test generation tools) to accelerate development and testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar platforms.
- Cloud and containerization knowledge (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable test environments.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software at speed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to AI-driven test automation platforms (e.g., Katalon Studio, Testim, Mabl, Functionize).
- Experience in performance and security testing using modern tools.
- Knowledge of microservices testing strategies and contract testing.
- Ability to influence and drive quality initiatives across multiple teams.

Nice to Have:

- Brownfield or legacy automation experience
- Cloud, microservices, or regulated domain exposure
