About the RoleJyoti Audio Visual is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to drive business development and sales of professional Audio Visual solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Audio Visual industry and should be comfortable with field sales, cold calling, customer visits, lead generation, preparing quotations, negotiations, order closure, and coordinating project execution.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle – from identifying prospects and generating enquiries to order closure, supply, installation coordination, and payment follow-up.

- Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Cold CallingConduct daily cold calls to prospective customers.

- Identify potential corporate, institutional, government, educational and commercial customers.
- Generate new leads, enquiries and business opportunities.
- Connect with Purchase Managers, Procurement Managers, Admin Managers, IT Managers, Facility Managers, Project Managers and Decision Makers.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

2. Customer Visits & Requirement IdentificationSchedule appointments with prospective and existing customers.

- Conduct regular field visits to customer locations.
- Understand customer requirements, project scope, budgets and timelines.
- Identify opportunities for AV products, solutions, system integration and project requirements.
- Conduct site visits wherever required and coordinate with the technical team for solution development.

3. Enquiry & Quotation ManagementUnderstand customer enquiries and prepare appropriate product/solution proposals.

- Coordinate with management and technical teams for product selection and pricing.
- Prepare and submit quotations within the required timeline.
- Ensure quotations are accurate and commercially competitive.
- Explain product specifications, solutions and commercial proposals to customers.

4. Follow-Up & NegotiationMaintain systematic follow-up on all quotations and enquiries.

- Track the status of enquiries and identify the next action required.
- Negotiate with customers within the company's approved commercial guidelines.
- Convert enquiries into purchase orders.
- Maintain regular communication with customers until closure.

Sales ClosureTake ownership of the sales process until the order is successfully closed.

- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers for repeat business and referrals.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.

6. Supply & Installation CoordinationCoordinate with the internal team after receiving the purchase order.

- Ensure timely communication of order details to the management/operations team.
- Follow up on product availability, dispatch and delivery.
- Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with the installation/project team to ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain communication with the customer until successful completion of supply and installation.

7. Payment Follow-UpFollow up with customers for timely payment against invoices.

- Monitor outstanding payments related to completed orders/projects.
- Coordinate with the accounts team and management regarding payment status.
- Maintain regular communication with customers until payment is received.

8. Coordination With ManagementWork closely with the management after lead generation and throughout the sales cycle.

- Discuss important enquiries, pricing, special discounts and project requirements with management.
- Escalate important opportunities and customer issues promptly.
- Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, quotations, closures and outstanding payments.

- Daily SOP / Expected ActivitiesMake a defined number of outbound calls every working day.
- Generate new leads and enquiries.




- Follow up on existing quotations.
- Schedule customer appointments.
- Conduct field visits.
- Update the sales pipeline regularly.
- Report important opportunities to management.
- Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, installations and payments.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Performance will be evaluated based on:

- Number of new leads generated
- Number of cold calls made
- Number of customer appointments
- Number of customer/site visits
- Number of new enquiries generated
- Value of quotations submitted
- Conversion ratio
- Monthly sales achieved
- New customer acquisition
- Repeat business generated
- Outstanding payment recovery
- Timely coordination of supply and installation

- Candidate ProfileMandatory RequirementsMinimum 3 years of sales experience in the Audio Visual / Pro AV industry.
- Good understanding of Audio Visual products and solutions.
- Experience in B2B / institutional / corporate sales will be preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good negotiation and convincing abilities.
- Ability to independently generate leads through cold calling and field visits.
- Should be target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Should be comfortable meeting customers and procurement/purchase teams.
- This is a field sales job.
- Candidate must have their own two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.
- Willingness to travel within Hyderabad and nearby areas as required.
