About the RoleWe are looking for a confident, guest-focused and experienced Food & Beverage Captain to join our restaurant team. The Captain will be responsible for ensuring smooth floor operations, delivering excellent guest service and supporting the restaurant management team in maintaining high service standards.

- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the service team during daily operations.
- Welcome guests and ensure a warm, professional dining experience.
- Take orders accurately and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverages.
- Ensure timely and efficient service from order taking to billing.
- Monitor table service, presentation and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams.
- Handle guest requests, feedback and complaints professionally.
- Train and guide junior service staff on restaurant SOPs and service standards.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness and overall floor presentation.
- Monitor inventory of service equipment, crockery, cutlery and other F&B; supplies.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain hygiene,



grooming and discipline standards within the service team.
- Support upselling of food, beverages and special menu items.
- Ensure billing and payment procedures are followed correctly.
- Help maintain a positive and professional working environment.
- Candidate Requirements2–4 years of experience in a quality restaurant, hotel or premium F&B; establishment.
- Previous experience as an F&B; Captain, Senior Steward or similar position preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valuable knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Ability to confidently handle guests and resolve service issues.
- Good leadership and team-management abilities.
- Well-groomed, energetic and service-oriented.
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
