Operate and monitor the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) on a daily basis.

Monitor pumps, blowers, aeration tanks, clarifiers, filters, dosing systems and other equipment.

Check and maintain pH, DO, MLSS, sludge levels and other basic water-quality parameters.

Carry out chemical dosing as per operating requirements.

Monitor treated-water quality and ensure the plant operates as per required standards.

Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Handle sludge dewatering, sludge transfer and proper disposal activities.

Maintain daily STP operation logs, chemical consumption records and maintenance records.

Identify operational problems, equipment breakdowns and abnormal conditions and report them to the Site Engineer.

Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices at the STP site.

Coordinate with laboratory personnel for water-quality testing.

Follow all environmental, safety and company procedures.
