Ladder Logix is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who can turn ideas and concepts into practical machine designs and mechanical solutions for industrial automation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components, machines and assemblies using SolidWorks and CAD software.
- Design and develop machine structures, mechanisms, fixtures and mechanical assemblies as per project requirements.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing, fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Create and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and other technical documentation.
- Select suitable mechanical components, materials and standard parts based on application requirements.
- Support the production and fabrication team during manufacturing and machine assembly.
- Check designs for accuracy, functionality, safety and ease of manufacturing.
- Identify design issues and make necessary design modifications and improvements.
- Coordinate with Electrical, PLC, Production and Project teams for smooth project execution.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of machines and provide design-related support.
- Continuously look for ways to make machine designs simpler, better and more cost-effective.

What We’re Looking For:





- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Good knowledge of SolidWorks and CAD software.
- Good understanding of 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components, machine design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of BOM preparation and fabrication drawings.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to learn recent technologies and improve design skills.
- Experience in Industrial Automation, Machine Design or Manufacturing will be an advantage.
