Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced HT & LT Engineer responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and supervision of High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) electrical systems. The candidate will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical equipment and distribution systems while complying with applicable safety standards.

- Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain HT/LT electrical systems, panels, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, PCCs, DG sets, and related equipment.
- Monitor HT/LT power distribution, electrical loads, voltage, current, power factor, and energy consumption.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns and ensure timely restoration of power.
- Conduct inspection and maintenance of transformers, HT/LT panels, VCBs, ACBs, MCCBs, relays, cables, busbars, and capacitor banks.
- Coordinate HT shutdowns, electrical isolation, and restoration activities safely.
- Supervise electrical technicians, contractors, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure proper earthing, cable termination, electrical protection, and equipment safety.
- Carry out testing and commissioning activities for HT/LT equipment as required.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, logbooks, checklists, test reports, and breakdown reports.
- Coordinate with electricity distribution authorities and external agencies when required.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, LOTO practices,



and statutory regulations.
- Support electrical projects, capacity upgrades, equipment installation, and modification works.
- Analyze recurring electrical problems and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure availability of critical electrical spares and maintain inventory records.
- Required QualificationsDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in HT/LT electrical maintenance or operations.
- Good knowledge of HT/LT distribution systems and electrical protection.
- Experience with transformers, VCBs, ACBs, MCC/PCC panels, DG sets, APFC panels, and electrical cables.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and basic electrical testing.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety, LOTO, earthing, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Preferred SkillsAbility to lead technicians and electrical contractors.
- Valuable documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to electrical breakdowns.
- Familiarity with applicable Indian electrical safety and statutory requirements.
- Knowledge of testing equipment such as insulation resistance tester (Megger), earth resistance tester, multimeter, clamp meter, and relay-testing equipment.
