Post: Welder & Fitter Department: Installation

Loation: Mumbai Metropolitan Region

Job Summary:

To assemble, fabricate, and weld metal components into finished products or structures according to engineering plans, ensuring high standards of quality, precision, and safety in a manufacturing or construction setting.

Responsibilities (KRAs):

Ø Read & Interpret: Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.

Ø Welding: Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Co2) to join metals, selecting appropriate techniques and settings.

Ø Assembly: Fit and join metal components, ensuring exact alignment and structural integrity.

Ø Quality Control: Inspect and test welds using measuring instruments to meet quality and safety standards.

Ø Equipment: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot welding machines, Grinder, Gas cutting, Corecutting, Drill machine and other hand tools.

Ø Safety:



Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Ø Collaboration: Work with fitters, machinists, Manage Helpers and reporting to supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Desired profile of the candidate:

Ø Proven experience as a welder and fabricator.

Ø Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Co2.

Ø Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.

Ø Strong understanding of different metal types (MS and Alloys).

Ø Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, squares) and fabrication machinery.

Ø Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Ø Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
