PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Timely identification and compliance of safety requirements of site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Keep track of inspection of vehicles, construction machinery, tools and equipment and according to the

checklist

2. Verification Validation of daily labour record, data maintenance.

3. Ensure induction training to all workers at site.

4. Guidance, allocation and monitoring of supervisors work.

5. Periodic safety training, safety induction, daily tool box meeting for labours, Staff and Visitors.

6. Recording of the correct/ incorrect safety practices followed at site and action taken for rectification of the

same.

7. Arrangement labour welfare programmes motivational programs (Film, Demo, Talk etc) for labours, Staff

and Visitors.

8. Focusing on maintenance of hygiene, cleanliness, ensuring Doctor's visit to the labour camps.

9. Ensure on time procurement of safety material effective utilization of the same.

10. Effective handling critical situations like accidents/ incidents and carrying out accident analysis, preventive

measures to be taken.

11. Prepare and submit Scheduled report about safety to HO under the guidance of Project Incharge.

12. Proactive measures taken for workplace safety, housekeeping and to Solve issues related to safety.

Responsible for ensuring safety during materials shifting

14. Effective coordination with other depts, HODs, HO, consultants external agencies for smooth working.

KEY DELIVERABLES / PERFORMANCE MEASURES

1. Identify and ensure compliance of unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.

2. Efforts to minimize injuries at site.

KEY CHALLENGES

1. Maintain the safety skill of work force which is highly volatile in terms of frequent shifting of work location.

2. Sustain pressure of work speed with safety and legal requirements relating to workforce.

IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE ROLE

Knowledge

1. Graduation: Any, Science Graduate, NIBOSH

preferred Qualification..

2. Minimum 4 Yearsexperience in Building

Construction safety job. As safety incharge should

have looked after at least two towers for at least

one year.

Skill

1. Good written and spoken communication skills

(English and Hindi)

2. Sound physique.

3. Basic computer operations and E mailing.
