Role: You will be our Nurse. You visit elderly patients at their homes in Durgapur and give the care that is agreed for each visit: checking blood pressure, sugar and oxygen, helping with medicines, dressing stable wounds, and giving routine injections that a doctor has prescribed. A doctor supervises the care. You report to the Care Manager.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. Must speak Bengali, Hindi, and basic English.

Qualification: Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). You must hold a valid registration with the West Bengal Nursing Council, and keep it renewed. We check it with the Council before you start and again at each renewal. We tell every family that all nursing care is given by a registered nurse, so if your registration is not valid you cannot visit patients.

Place of work: Your work is at patients' homes within the Company's service area in Durgapur (currently the Sagarbhanga and Bidhan Nagar zones), with reporting to the Company's coordination base at Sagarbhanga, Durgapur for briefings, supplies, records and training.



The service area may change with reasonable notice.

Important Note: NityaKare gives monitoring and maintenance care only, never treatment. You must never give an injection without a doctor's prescription on file, never give IV fluids, drips or nebulisation, never change or stop a medicine, and never try to treat an emergency. If a patient is unwell, call an ambulance on the number on your escalation card, call the family, inform the office, and stay with the patient. Following this rule protects you, the patient, and NityaKare.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹9,000.00 per month
