Job Title: SAP FI (Financial Accounting) Consultant

Experience: 10 to 15 Years

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant with 10 to 15 years of expertise in SAP Financial Accounting. The candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of finance processes, SAP FI configuration, business process analysis, and end-to-end SAP implementation experience. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation projects will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Finance and Accounting processes.
- Configure and support SAP FI modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Taxation
- Financial Closing & Reporting

- Lead SAP FI implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Drive SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation initiatives.
- Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules such as CO, MM, SD, PP, and PS.
- Manage month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis,



and solution design discussions with business stakeholders.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments.
- Support testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Production Deployment.
- Provide production support and resolve critical issues within SLA timelines.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to solution architecture discussions.

Required Skills

- Robust experience in SAP FI configuration and support.
- Expertise in:
- General Ledger Accounting
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Asset Accounting
- Bank Accounting
- Tax Configuration
- Electronic Bank Statements
- Financial Reporting

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations/migrations.
- Knowledge of New GL and Universal Journal concepts.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial reporting processes.
- Experience with interfaces, IDOCs, and integration touchpoints.
- Exposure to Fiori applications related to Finance.
