- Key responsibilities include preparing and mixing cement, mortar, concrete, and other construction materials; laying bricks, blocks, stones, and other masonry units; plastering and finishing surfaces; repairing cracks, damaged structures, and masonry defects; and ensuring proper alignment, level, thickness, and finishing of completed work
- The Mason will also assist in basic excavation, leveling, waterproofing, tiling, grouting, and other related civil activities as required
- The candidate should be able to read basic construction measurements and understand work instructions provided by supervisors or engineers
- Proper handling and maintenance of hand tools, equipment, and construction materials is essential
- The role also requires coordination with helpers, contractors, engineers, and other site personnel to complete assigned work within timelines
