Required Skills Qualifications
Looker Expertise Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience writing LookML and administering Looker instances
SQL BigQuery Proficiency Advanced SQL skills specifically tailored for Google BigQuery including writing optimized queries window functions and managing datasets
Version Control Proficient with Git workflows for version controlling LookML code
Analytical Mindset Robust ability to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful business insights
Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and nontechnical teams
Preferred Qualifications
Certification Looker Certified LookML Developer Looker Certified Business Analyst or Google Cloud Certified Data Engineer credentials
Data Modeling Paradigms Familiarity with Kimball methodology or star schema data modeling
dbt Experience Experience using dbt data build tool for upstream data transformation in Google BigQuery
Required experience in below any skill
Looker + GCP Data Engineering
Looker + ETL (SSIS/Amazon/AWS)
GCP Data Engineering + Tableau/Cognos/Power BI
