Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled ETL QA Engineer / ETL Tester with strong expertise in data validation, ETL testing, cloud technologies, and test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Informatica ETL, AWS Services, SQL, ICEDQ/QuerySurge, Python/PySpark, API Testing, Jenkins, GitHub, and Unix/Linux environments. The candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and automating testing processes for enterprise-scale data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute ETL test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Validate ETL workflows built using Informatica and other data integration tools.
- Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
- Test data transformations, aggregation rules, business logic, and data quality checks.
- Write complex SQL queries for backend data validation and analysis.
- Execute API testing to validate data exchange between applications and data platforms.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python/PySpark.
- Utilize ICEDQ/QuerySurge for data quality validation and ETL test automation.
- Validate AWS-based data pipelines and cloud data warehouse environments.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with Developers, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate issue resolution.
- Generate test execution reports, quality metrics, and test closure reports.

- Experience validating data migration and data transformation processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.
